Bal Krishna

Lord Krishna is a revered God of millions of Indians. He is known to have visited the earth as an avatar of Lord Vishnu to end the misrule of demon king Kansa and later to guide the holy war of Mahabharata. Baby Krishna or bal Krishna was born to Devki, sister of the demon king, who had vowed to kill little Krishna or hari Krishna as soon as he was born as Kansa was destined to be killed at the hands of baby Krishna or bal Krishna later on in his life.

Baby Krishna or hari Krishna was full of mischief in his early days and played pranks on fellow friends; so much so that he got spanking from his mother often. bal Krishna or little Krishna was very fond of sweet butter and cream and stole it from anywhere he could lay his hands on. For this he was punished many times. Little Krishna or bal Krishna showed the glimpse of what he is very soon in his life as he saved his fellow friends and the villagers of Gokul many a times. hari Krishna or little Krishna played flute which was magic to the ears of anyone who heard it.

Baby Krishna or bal Krishna killed many demons in his childhood to save the people of his village. Once, Lord Indra got angry with him and tried to teach a lesson to him but hari Krishna or little Krishna showed his magical powers and held the entire mountain called Govardhan on his little finger to save the people of his village from the devastation of floods caused by the anger of Lord Indra. Baby Krishna or bal Krishna was given the task of feeding the cows and he did so taking the help of his friends. Many times little Krishna saved the cows from demons. hari Krishna had a poor friend by the name of Sudama whom he remembered even after becoming the King of Dwarka and returned his favors by giving him a lot of wealth. When he was just a toddler, baby Krishna killed a demon by sucking on her breasts too hard.
